MATT HAZELTON

Matt grew up in Cannon Falls, a small town in southeastern Minnesota, and now lives in Roseville with his wife and two sons. He studied music at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, before transitioning into commercial real estate, where he developed a reputation for being steady, thoughtful, and deeply committed to the people he works with and to the retail real estate industry. Over the years, that approach has led to opportunities to lead, build, and shape new ventures within the industry. He currently serves as President of the Minnesota Shopping Center Association, is an active member of ICSC, and frequently speaks at industry events. Outside of real estate, Matt has also performed with the Rochester Symphony Orchestra.

At home, life stays full with a mix of music, outdoor adventures, and time spent at local baseball games and curling matches. He and his family also enjoys traveling to national parks around the country, appreciating both the landscapes and the time together away from daily routines. Matt values the rhythm of everyday life, the energy of shared experiences, and staying connected to the community around him.
